April Is Here, And You’ve Still Got The Weight?

We are four months into the new year and you are still carrying the extra weight  you had resolved to lose at the outset of the new year.

Now, being depressed about it or even just talk about it won’t help the diet-cure-over-weight-womansituation.  However, There are several things you can do to put yourself in the right track.

We are still in April and you can still do it!

Release Stress

The first thing you need to do is release as much stress as you can.  Try to walk, exercise, even get a massage if possible.  The goal is to relax your mind and body and get in the mood of losing the weight.

Make Time for Yourself

Get into the habit of devoting at least 20 minutes a day exclusively for yourself.  Soak your feet, take a bath, do your own facial, do your nails, read a few pages of a personal development book.   what ever floats your boat.  The important thing is to devote these few minutes each and every day for YOU alone, and you feel good about yourself.

Keep a Journal

Keep a journal of your progress.  How do you feel about the weight you want to lose?  Maybe write a time table goal on when you want to have the pounds gone.  Very important, write about how you feel “AFTER” you’ve lost the weight. Write this  in the present tense.

Hang Out With Happy People

I know, this might be the hardest part, but if you want to lose weight, don’t hang out with over-eaters.  Don’t hang out with people telling you that you don’t have to lose the weight or people that are overall negative.

These are seemingly little steps you can take to get to your goal of losing weight, but there are very important steps that might just help you to make up for the time you’ve lost so far.  Remember, you don’t have to do it alone.  Diet Cure is here to help you.
