10 Pounds In 14 Days - Healthily?

Is it possible to lose 10 pounds EVERY 14 days?

And why doesn’t that sound like much when so many other diets promise so much more?

There are a couple of issues at work here:
1.If we face the facts, we don’t want to loose Weight - we want to loose FAT. Many of those that promise faster weight loss are actually basing their short-term results on an extreme diet that causes the body to flush water from the system. Since water’s quite heavy, the initial 7-day results can be eye-popping! But that’s not a healthy way to live.

2.Weight loss isn’t about ‘diets’ and packaged foods. Those are expensive, or (worse) rely on will power and discipline to keep at them. Healthy Weight Loss is dependent on educating yourself, and finding a system that works that you follow.

3.Once you’ve got that system, if it relies on specialized diets or meals that take a lot of prep time, you will eventually ‘fall off the wagon’. No one wants to spend their nights cooking multi-step meals prepared with relatively rare ingredients. We’re all busy, and we want quick stops at the store, with simple meals prepared with ingredients we have on hand. Rule of thumb? If we have to stop and THINK about it, it’s doomed to fail!
4.The result and what we’re all looking for?

A lifestyle change! If we can be taught a system for eating and healthy living that improves our health and sculpts our body, we can make it a part of our life and following it becomes natural with no thought or self-discipline required!
What do those all tie together in to?

We need to ignore the promises of those very expensive package-meal deals and new ‘fad’ diet books that promise 14 pounds in 7 days!
Sustainable weight loss is more than that! It’s our healthy and vitality, and a life of the small choices we make each and every time we put something into our bodies. A diet can kick-start the process, but unless it’s teaching us simple techniques we can incorporate into our daily lives, eventually we’ll all submit to temptation.
Finally, we have to be honest and stop lieing to ourselves! A vibrant life of strength and a sculpted body do not result from eating healthily on the couch while watching Monk!

The only way to get the body we deserve is through movement and activity!

Any of those diets that don’t preach to the benefit – no, the REQUIREMENT – of a regular exercise program are lieing to us! Our bodies were build to move and strain, and that’s the only way to build energy and sculpt muscle tone!

In closing, I’m not preaching. If there’s a diet out there, I’ve tried it! But I’ve found only one diet plan that combines all the above (that I’ve carefully learned through a Master’s Degree in the School of Hard Knocks!)
